Role Summary:
We are looking for an experienced person in spend analytics with deep expertise in procurement data, classification, taxonomy design, and opportunity assessments. The role demands strong technical skills, the ability to lead teams, and drive cost savings initiatives through structured spend insights across industries and categories.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead spend analytics and opportunity assessment projects to identify cost savings levers
· Translate client objectives into scalable, data-driven solutions
· Design and deploy Alteryx workflows for repeatable data processing and enrichment
· Use Python for automated cleansing, regex-based classification, and transformation logic
· Build Power BI dashboards to visualize supplier, category, and compliance insights
· Apply advanced Excel techniques for modeling and validation
· Deliver client-facing presentations using PowerPoint with clear, actionable insights
· Guide taxonomy design using industry/category knowledge and manage a team of analysts
· Interface directly with clients to ensure successful project delivery
Skills Required:
· Python: Proficient in Pandas, NumPy, regex for cleansing, classification, and transformation.
· Alteryx: Skilled in building automated, scalable workflows for data consolidation and analysis.
· Power BI: Experienced in DAX-driven dashboards to visualize spend opportunities.
· Excel: Advanced use of Power Query, pivot tables, formulas for structured data handling.
· PowerPoint: Able to craft consulting-grade decks communicating value and recommendations
· Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to convert complex data into actionable insights with logical savings initiatives
· Team Leadership: Proven ability to manage a growing team, mentor analysts, and support their day-to-day delivery
Preferred Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or related field
· 4–5 years total experience; 3–4 years in procurement/spend analytics
· Proven experience in cost savings, taxonomy design, and cross-industry category analysis
· Strong logical aptitude with ability to lead teams and interface with clients
